We would give the villa a 5 - it was really great, good facilities, great pool and eating area. The villa was lovely and Ana the owner was so helpful with lots of tips and information. We went to nearby villages and towns - Pontevedra, Vigo, Santiago and a local beach. I would recommend it for an authentic Spanish holiday. I would recommend and would book with Galicia Holiday again

Our stay at Casa do Medico was everything that we had hoped for. Upon arrival at the house, Ana the owner was their to meet us and make us feel at home. She showed us around the stunning property, which the pictures on the website simply don't do justice to. The original features such as the exposed stone walls, fireplaces and beams are just lovely. The garden is enormous, and when sunbathing by the pool, you can smell wild mint and fennel since they are in abundance. We were a party of 6 (5 adults and 1 child) and there was more than enough room for all of us. We particularly enjoyed the fact that there were large bathrooms in each of the three bedrooms, plus a further bathroom downstairs -all of which had fantastic showers. I fell in love with this part of Spain- the hills, the unspoilt countryside and the beautiful coastline. I will certainly return one day.

Lovely villa medico was wonderful inside and out, really well stocked with everything you could need to stay. Pool was lovely, lit up at night and Ana was really helpful and accommodating and let us know things around the area which was great. Woulddefinitely recommend!

The Villa Médico is really beautiful, very well decorated, with very careful details that make it unique, without a doubt a wonderful place to rest and enjoy. Very close to the interesting places, we visited Soutomaior Castle and ate an excellentcooked in As Estacas, it was undoubtedly a luxury weekend. María is an excellent hostess, we wish her luck in the future, although with this marvel of house, farm and town she will not need it, we will return, without a doubt. Lia and José

If you're at the stage of comparing Villa Medico with another property in Galicia, allow me to advise you to stop and book this one immediately! The house is gorgeous (the photos do not do it justice): beautifully furnished and with everything youcould possibly need for a blissful holiday. My family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) did not want to leave after 3 weeks. There is huge amounts of room, the garden is vast, the pool refreshing and there are plenty of spaces to sit in the shade and eat/drink/read etc. The marquee made for some splendid lunches and board games with the upper area perfect for supper once the sun has moved around the house. If you enjoy cooking then you'll adore the kitchen and we certainly each loved having our own private bathrooms (yes, there are 4 fully-equipped bathrooms!). The views are astonishing and Galicia itself is glorious, utterly ravishing in its beauty. The climate was most kind to us and there is so much to explore in the local area and indeed further afield. We spent a week in France after leaving Casa de Medico and found it extremely expensive compared to Galicia. Maria and her cousin could not have been better hosts; extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. We all miss Casa de Medico and would not hesitate to return at any time of year. We had an amazing stay at this fabulous villa — without a doubt the best we’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautifully modernised with high-quality fittings, super comfy beds, hot showers, and stunning views from the lovely gardens. The large swimming pool was a highlight, and the peaceful location, away from tourist crowds, made it even more special. Ana, the perfect hostess, made us feel so welcome. Everything was spotless and fully equipped — we truly couldn’t fault a thing!
